Gavin Bell

Prior to joining Murray & Co, Gavin spent 11 years in banking roles in New Zealand, London and Hong Kong, followed by two years as a Director of a Christchurch-based commercial property investment company.

Gavin’s banking career initially focused on financial markets with ANZ, before transitioning to the bank’s Treasury team. After a period in London focusing on wholesale debt issuance, he moved to Hong Kong to oversee ANZ’s Treasury management across multiple North Asia sites.

With his extensive experience in financial risk management, funding and liquidity management and stakeholder engagement, Gavin is able to help our clients to set and drive strategies for achieving their desired balance sheet outcomes.

Gavin is a CFA^® charterholder and holds degrees from the University of Canterbury in Commerce and Science.
