Justin founded Murray & Co in 2004 after returning to New Zealand from an investment banking career in London with Rothschild, Bankers Trust and Bear Stearns, where he was a Managing Director.
With over 28 years' transactional and advisory experience across a range of industries, in New Zealand and offshore, Justin is very well placed to guide our clients through their most important strategic and transaction processes. Justin holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury, was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court, has undertaken executive education at Harvard Business School and is a certified member of the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand.
He is a Director of Enable Fibre Broadband and is also Chairman of Christ Church Cathedral Reinstatement, the JV company responsible for reinstating the Anglican Cathedral in Christchurch. He was previously a Director of Christchurch International Airport and Deputy-Chairman of the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal Trust Advisory Board.
