Career pathways

Graduate Analysts

Murray & Co’s graduates begin their careers in investment banking as part of a highly experienced team. Our Analysts learn investment banking from investment bankers, and gain insights into the strategic thinking and disciplined execution required to navigate complex transactions and major financial decisions. They work across a range of mandates and contribute directly to live engagements by supporting research, financial analysis, modelling, valuation, documentation and transaction execution.

As well as opportunities to learn on the job, through internal events and regular office rotations, we provide support for learning and development activities outside of the firm including, if you choose to, support for you to participate in the CFA programme.

The firm welcomes applications from students completing degrees or postgraduate qualifications primarily in finance, but also economics and accounting and complementary disciplines including law.

Summer Internships

Murray & Co’s summer internship provides students with real-world exposure to investment banking, contributing to active client engagements. Interns work alongside members of our team, supporting research, analysis, financial modelling, valuation, documentation and transaction execution.

The programme is designed for students with a genuine interest in investment banking who want first-hand experience and to learn more about the work, expectations and opportunities involved in the profession.
