A finance lawyer by background and as co-founder of the firm, Clare has had a range of roles at Murray & Co over the years including compliance, business development, marketing and communications, people and culture.
These days, she’s well placed to govern as a non-executive director providing strategic advice and direction with a particular interest in ensuring the firm serves not only its clients but also connects with its communities.
Prior to Murray & Co, Clare was a Senior Solicitor with Clifford Chance in London involved in the execution of international debt capital markets transactions and advising corporate trustees in relation to restructuring defaulted debt securities.
She has a Masters in Music from Oxford University, Law Society Finals from De Montfort University and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors. Clare is a Director of Whai Rawa Fund (a managed licensed investment scheme), a Board Member of the NZSO and leads the Professional and Community Engagement Programme (PACE) at the University of Canterbury.
