Sale of Canary Enterprises to Westland Milk Products

Murray & Co acted as financial advisor to Canary Enterprises (“Canary”) on its sale to Westland Milk Products (“Westland”).

Canary is a highly regarded manufacturer of reworked premium butter and cheese-based products. Canary’s products are supplied to a diverse range of businesses in the foodservice sector, with 75% of its products being exported.

Westland, located in the West Coast and Canterbury regions of New Zealand, is one of New Zealand’s largest dairy processors. Westland produces ingredients, food service and consumer products for application by a range of customers worldwide. Westland is owned by Yili Group.
