Murray & Co acted as financial advisor to the Active Refrigeration Group on its acquisition of Advanced Building Services.
The Group specialises in sustainable refrigeration and HVAC solutions for industrial and commercial clients throughout New Zealand.
ABS has been operating in Wellington for over 30 years and specialises in HVAC, plumbing and electrical, design, installation and maintenance services.
As part of the transaction, the ABS shareholders reinvested alongside Active Refrigeration and Thermal Solutions to support the continued growth of the combined group.
The transaction was completed in February 2026.
