3 November 2011 - Otago student wins Murray + Co Scholarship
Laura Manson, of Otago University, has been awarded the 2011 Murray + Co Investment Banking Scholarship. Laura is studying towards a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance. Chris Milne, head of Corporate Finance at Murray + Co, said the scholarship aimed to reward students of a high calibre who were striving for success.

9 May 2011 – Lessons from San Francisco
Justin Murray, Managing Director of Murray + Co, has been asked to join a Christchurch delegation heading to San Francisco to gain valuable insight into its rebuild programme following the 1989 earthquake.
The delegation will include five councillors and five members of the Canterbury Business Leaders Group, of which Murray is a member. The delegation will pay their own travel and expenses.
While in San Francisco they will meet with experts and key stakeholders on a variety of subjects including urban design, public transport, housing reconstruction, restoring business confidence and tourism recovery, building code and building resilience, private sector partnerships and governance.

28 April 2011 - Justin Murray on earthquake advisory board
Justin Murray, Managing Director of Murray + Co, has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal Trust.
The Trust will distribute money from the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, established by the Government.
Advisory board members have been chosen as respected Christchurch and Canterbury people whose experience, interest and knowledge will help the trustees.
